About

Growing up in a home where playing classical music was as natural as brushing your teeth, I realised early on that beauty and the arts were to be valued. After considering a career in interior design and then journalism, I finally settled on training as a classical violinist which has brought me immense pleasure as a teacher, and performer with Sound of Serendipity.

It was only when I set about planning my own wedding with my wonderful husband Rian, that I realised my passion for creativity, aesthetics and design could all be combined through the world of styling.  And so Style Serendipity was born in October 2011, first as a resource for the modern Irish couple looking for inspiration in creating a wedding experience that is as unique as they are (though I’m so grateful to now have readers from the world over!) Following on from the success of Style Serendipity’s first year, it has evolved into an editorial and event styling business with big dreams for the years ahead.

I’m inspired by landscapes, texture, simplicity and elegance. Love should be the foundation of every wedding and special event, with aesthetic details serving as the means to elicit the essence of your story. If you believe in the power of visual elements to create an experience that is distinctly and beautifully yours, be it for a wedding, special event, styled shoot, engagement or interiors, be sure to get in touch.
