If you’ve already picked up your copy of BASH Volume 3 you’ll have spotted this sun soaked garden party inspiration created in the throes of our Indian Summer, and it’s also featured on Style me Pretty today! Nothing says Ireland like ancient castles, and with all that sunshine going to my head, my usual leanings towards muted shades of green and grey were transformed into a craving for sun soaked forest green, offset with aubergine pale citrus and coral. Malahide Castle has a kaleidoscope influences, owned by the same family for 800 years who filled the ornamental gardens with exotic plants and trees from the world over and it’s well worth a trip if you’re ever in Dublin. With the dazzling sunshine, charming accessories from Avoca and a delicate mantilla lace veil, there was all the history, elegance and heritage of the castle with a twist of Mediterranean magic! Thanks to D’Arcy Benincosa for capturing it all so beautifully, as well as the talented ladies who helped to create the magic you see below.
