It seems like everyone is getting on board with DIY fun for their wedding these days, and why not! The right project can help you to cut costs and bring a personal element to your celebration which wouldn’t be achievable otherwise. Choosing the right type of DIY project to take on is so important though, and can stop you from losing your mind sewing 50 metres of bunting the night before your weddding (yes, I know someone who’s been there!) That’s why I was delighted to road test and style some easy DIY projects for the latest issue of BASH Magazine. If you haven’t got your hands on the latest issue yet, trust me it’s well worth it. From easy peasy painted cutlery, to herb inspired place cards and menus, these projects are easy and cost effective to achieve. I happily whiled away an hour or so in front of the tv creating the berry hued cutlery you see below and it’s definitely something I’ll be trying again. Check out the finished result below beautifully captured by Nathalie Marquez Courtney, and see the step by step process by Nikki Doyle in volume two!
