Interior Styling Wish List…House Doctor 2013

A weekend of sunshine in Ireland in the summer…doesn’t really get much better than that! Hope you made the most of it and that being back to reality isn’t too unpleasant. As well as getting my fix of vitamin D, I spent a lot of the weekend debating the pros and cons of a possible house move (it’s about as much fun as it sounds!). Thanks to ever climbing Dublin rents, we’re considering moving a bit further out of the city to somewhere smaller and more affordable, though judging by my collection of interior design books and an ever growing wish list of ‘must haves’ you’d never think budget was an issue. Whatever we decide, it doesn’t look like we’ll be buying that illusive dream home for a while, so for now I’ll just have to keep indulging my interior styling dreams through various projects and sharing my favourite finds with you.

One firm favourite that never disappoints is House Doctor. A Danish brand of home accessories and furniture created by three siblings, their creations are always fresh and design led with just the right amount of Scandinavian cool. Available to buy in Article in Dublin, I have succumbed on more than one occasion to something pretty from their range. In fact if I could have one of everything in the Everyday 2013 catalogue I’d be one happy camper (you never know, these hints might pay off one day!). Check out the full range here or buy online here.

Me too, love all the light trends and bare bulbs popping up at the moment, definitely on the list for the forever home!
