Hello everyone! Sorry for my absence on Monday. I had the pleasure of styling an eight dress editorial for Confetti magazine’s upcoming Summer issue, so the day was over before I even knew it. The next issue will be on stands in March, so keep an eye out for it!
In honour of Spring being here (though I know you wouldn’t think it with the weather!) I thought I would share the work of the Irish fashion designer, Alice Halliday. Based in west Cork, Alice created a magical and ethereal shoot using pieces from her latest collection. She has started to branch out into bridal wear, (Florence Welch happens to be a big fan of her work!) so if you’re looking for a unique, and striking bridal style be sure to get in touch. She shares below, how it all came together.
“This shoot took place in Skibbereen, West Cork, at the beautiful Wedding Venue Liss Ard Estate. Captured by London based filmmaker and photographer Aoise Tutty, it features some of the pieces from Designer Alice Halliday’s award winning ‘Tea With Tamara’ collection, as well as some new pieces and also archive pieces from the past five years.
Alice Halliday specialises in one-off fashion and accessories, inspired by nature and spirituality. Her pieces are all hand-made using a majority of recycled materials, staying true to her design philosophy ‘Recycle-to-Relove’.”
