You Light Up My Life…
Lightbulb Inspiration for your big day!

Some of the best wedding decor ideas come from items that you would never expect to see woven throughout a special day! Case in point, light bulbs! Don’t throw out your old ones just yet! Who would have thought there would be so many creative ways they can bring a bit of pizazz to the setting. From DIY lightbulb vases (see a great how to tutorial here) to mini terrariums to use as place cards or give out to your guests as incredibly unique favours, they could really make an impact without breaking the bank. My favourite though is seeing string upon string of glowing bulbs, illuminating reception areas. I just can’t quite figure out how they manage to light them without having power leads everywhere though?! If anyone can ‘enlighten’ me (I know, I know but it’s nearly the weekend so bad puns are allowed!) on how it works, please share!
