Ooh have I a treat in store for you today, and I hope it will make up for my absence on Friday! (who knew packing up and moving house would take so long?!).
While attending Joy Thigpen’s styling workshop in February, I had the pleasure of meeting a whole group of talented and inspiring wedding professionals. I was especially lucky to end up sharing a room with two wonderful Canadian gals, whose eye for beauty and creativity you will see below!
Styled by Catalina Bloch, and captured by Anne-Marie Bouchard of AMBphoto, the catalyst for this shoot was a teal couture Parisian gown, that once belonged to the model, Marielle’s grandmother. Add some lace balloons (I’ll be sharing how Catalina created these beauties later in the week!) the hills of Quebec, and gorgeous florals and you have a pretty magic combination!
Huge thanks to Anne-Marie and Catalina for allowing me to share their vision, and stunning photography with you all! And the treats don’t end there…stay tuned for part two, coming up on Wednesday!
“Shot in the remote woods of the Gatineau hills of Quebec, this shoot was inspired by the stunning Vintage Parisian Gown that Marielle is wearing that once belongs to her grandmother. The elegant design and delicate lace detailing inspired us to create the Lace balloons to compliment the shoot. The vintage jewels worn my Marielle also belonged to her grandmother and beautifully compliment the entire outfit. Marielle has such an elegant look, she reminded us of a young, fun and energetic Audrey Hepburn and we felt that the shoot had to reflect that.”
