I hope everyone had a lovely weekend! If you stopped by on Friday you would have seen Part 1 of this gorgeous shoot, captured by the talented eye of Sona from Inspired by Love. I was delighted to style the clothing and details on the day as part of Sona’s new styled engagement package, and we got to work planning the perfect way to capture Chris and Victoria’s love.
Lough Gur Co. Limerick had a special significance to them both, so we started the session with a lakeside setting, before moving onto the nearby Grange Stone Circle for a whimsical picnic. The Grange Stone Circle, or Stones of the Sun is a mystical place consisting of a ring of 113 ancient stones. It is the largest stone circle of its kind in Ireland, and is believed to date from 2000 bc, making it older than parts of Stonehenge and the pyramids! Being there for the shoot in the morning light was simply magical.
It’s important for me when styling a shoot for a couple, that the essence of who they are and their love for each other shines through. It’s not about taking over, or imprinting my own idea for a shoot, but rather to enhance and express their individual connection with each other, and how they interact with the world around them. I’m excited to be collaborating with Sona from Inspired by Love by offering styling services to her clients, so I hope this won’t be the last gorgeous couple that we get to share with you!
At the end of the day, the details are simply that. Little details that tell the story of who Victoria and Chris are, but I think you’ll agree that it’s their love for each other, and the joy they feel in each others presence, that shines through in these images. I’ll let the rest of Sona’s beautiful work do the talking, and wish Victoria and Chris a million best wishes for their future adventures together!
