Playing with Scale in your Wedding Styling…
Floral and cake trends 2012

While indulging my Pinterest addiction (if you haven’t discovered it yet, you’re in for a treat, but be warned you may lose hours of your life!) I’ve been noticing more and more asymmetrical flower arrangements. They are reminiscent of the flower and fruit bouquets, evoked in the Dutch masters oil paintings. I love the lush, wild and almost moody quality they bring to an arrangement. Couple this with my other favourite trend, a mini cake for you and your beloved, and you have the perfect talking pieces for your reception decor! Could you see these trends catching on in Ireland?!
