I think my jaw dropped when this ‘out of this world’ wedding landed in my inbox last week…yes that is a real bride you’re looking at and not a model! And I’m even more excited to share it, as these unbelievable images were captured by the wonderful Brooke Boling! I had the pleasure of spending a fun few days in Brooke’s company at Joy Thigpen‘s wedding styling workshop in Georgia. I was not only blown away by her talent, but also her openness and passion for photography. She’s based in Nashville, but is available for travel worldwide, (including Ireland!). So be sure to explore her website and get in touch!
Brooke filled me in on all the gorgeous details from the day in Franklin Tennessee!
“It’s hard to imagine a more perfect setting than Southall Eden, a beautiful farm located just outside of Franklin, Tennessee. Surrounded by beautiful rolling hills, this magical country backdrop set the stage for a day of wonder and delight. An impromptu music session started the proceedings and it wasn’t long before the flower girl and ring bearer arrived on the back of a ’63 Dodge Pickup. The ceremony took place not just in the barn, but up in the loft, where the sun cast slivers of light alongside carefully hung string lights. The bride was angelic in her Reem Acre dress. Hay bails-arranged like church pews-made for a unique perch for guests to watch. After the ceremony, everyone moved to the front yard to find a tapestry of teal and white decorations. Details included Crumbleteenies (vanilla cake with bananas foster infusion, vanilla cake with crème Brule infusion, chocolate cake with Chambord infusion) and invitations printed on wood grain paper stock. The night ended with conversation among Mason jar lights and dancing to the hypnotic effect of the DJ spinning songs into the nighttime sky”
Thanks so much to Brooke for sharing such a beauty! I’ll be looking forward to featuring more work from the talented wedding professionals I had the pleasure of meeting in the U.S, over the next few weeks!
