Sneak Peek, Lake Michigan Wedding
By Glass Jar Photography

Having spent many a happy summers day on Lake Michigan when I studied in Chicago, this beautiful Super 8 video by Glass Jar Photography definitely brought back some great memories! And what a fantastic memento it is for this stunning bride and groom who brought their American and Columbian heritage together with amazingly stylish results!

What are your views on videography? A must have way of recording the special moments of your big day or something you could take or leave? I would love to hear your thoughts!

I love that Super 8 has been revived and is becoming more popular for Irish weddings now. If you’re looking for a similar style of videography Best Day Productions in Kildare can capture your wedding on 8mm film to create a dreamy, retro feel.

This is just a sneak peek for now, the full feature with all the gorgeous details will be posted soon so keep an eye out! It’s well worth the wait!

  1. I think videography is a must have. A documentary style video captures your day completely differently to your photos.

The brides on our community forums definitely see it as something they cherish, and well worth the investment. You have very little left after your weddings, and your photos and dvd are things I would highly recommend any couple to prioritise in their wedding budget and planning process.

  2. Thanks for your thoughts Claire! Videography was something my husband and I couldn’t stretch our budget for but looking at the dreamy Super8 films emerging it’s definitely something that I’d love to have to look back on now!

  3. I’m with you on that Ciara – I love the soft focus & dream-like nature of Super 8 and vintage cameras in general. It would definitely be a gorgeous addition to a wedding day….

  4. Yay Lake Michigan! Makes me feel at home. And a lovely video to boot!
